Strong Fit Massage & Bodywork Policies
We run a small practice, and when you book, that time is reserved for you alone. These policies help us keep the schedule fair for our clients and our therapists. If anything here is unclear, call or text us at 401-427-5227.
Booking
You can book online, by phone, or by text. We ask for a credit or debit card to hold your appointment. The card is not charged when you book. It is only used if one of the fees below applies.
Cancellations
Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move your appointment. That gives us a chance to offer the time to someone else. Appointments cancelled or moved with less than 24 hours' notice are charged 50% of the service price to the card on file. If late cancellations become a pattern, we may ask you to prepay when booking future appointments.
No-Shows
If you miss an appointment without letting us know, the fee depends on how many times it has happened:
Fees are charged to the card on file and must be paid before your next visit. Clients with repeated no-shows may be required to prepay, or may lose the ability to book in advance.
Running Late
If you arrive late, we will do what we can with the time remaining, but your session will still end at the scheduled time so the next client is not kept waiting, and the full price applies. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule, which is treated as a late cancellation. If we are the ones running behind, we will extend your session when possible or adjust the price.
Illness
Please do not come in sick. If you are ill, have a fever, or are contagious, call us as soon as you can and we will reschedule you. There is no fee for rescheduling because of illness, even on short notice. If your therapist is sick, we will contact you and reschedule at no charge. Please keep your intake form up to date, and tell your therapist about any changes to your health, medications, or injuries before your session.
Emergencies and Weather
Emergencies happen, and fees can be waived at our discretion. Just get in touch with us as soon as you are able. If we have to close or delay opening because of severe weather, we will text or email everyone who has an appointment that day. There is never a fee for an appointment we cancel because of weather.
Conduct
Massage at Strong Fit is therapeutic only. Any inappropriate behavior, comment, or request will end the session immediately, the full price will be charged, and the client will not be booked again. We also ask that phones be silenced during sessions, for your benefit and for the clients around you.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of your appointment. We accept credit and debit cards, contactless payment, and HSA/FSA cards. Gratuities are appreciated but never required.
Clients Under 18
For clients under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present at the first appointment and must remain on the premises during sessions.
Reminders
We send appointment reminders by text and email as a courtesy. They are not a guarantee, so please keep your own note of your appointment time. If you are unsure when you are booked, call or text us and we will check.
